American Institute of CPAs

The American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) is the world’s largest member association representing the accounting profession dating back to 1887. The AICPA develops standards for audits of private companies and other CPA services. It also monitors and enforces compliance with the profession’s technical and ethical standards.

National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts

The National Association of Certified Valuators and AnalystsⓇ (NACVA) is a global organization and the Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) is the most widely recognized business valuation credential. The CVA credential is the only business valuation credential accredited by the National Commission for Certifying AgenciesⓇ (NCCA) and the American National Standards InstituteⓇ (ANSI).

Association of Certified Fraud Examiners

The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) is the largest anti-fraud organization and premier provider of anti-fraud training and education. The Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) denotes proven expertise in fraud prevention, detection, and deterrence. CFEs are trained to identify the warning signs and red flags that indicate evidence of fraud and fraud risk. CFEs have a unique skill set, combining knowledge of complex financial transactions with an understanding of methods, law, and how to resolve allegations of fraud.

Institute for Internal Controls

The Institute for Internal Controls (TheIIC) is a professional organization dedicated to promoting an effective internal controls environment through education and professional certification. Certified Internal Controls Auditors (CICA) and Certified Controls Specialists (CCS) earn certifications after a rigorous qualification process. They possess expertise in the areas of internal controls including audits, review, design, and implementation.

Certified Information Technology Professional

The Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP) credential represents the intersection of technology and finance. The CITP designation recognizes expertise and experience in information security and cyber risks, business intelligence, data management and analytics, and IT governance, risk, and controls.

National Association of Estate Planners & Councils

The National Association of Estate Planners & Councils (NAEPC) promotes excellence in estate planning. The Accredited Estate PlannerⓇ designation is awarded only to estate planning professionals who meet special requirements of education, experience, knowledge, professional reputation, and character.

IRS Enrolled Agent

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) requires an enrolled agent to pass a three-part comprehensive IRS test covering individual and business tax returns. Enrolled agent status is the highest credential the IRS awards, and it requires agents to adhere to ethical standards and complete 72 hours of continuing education courses every three years.

Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisors

The QuickBooks ProAdvisorⓇ designation indicates special product training for Intuit’s most used accounting software. In addition to specialized training on the software and accounting best practices, the certification denotes deep expertise in using and customizing the software to a business’s unique needs.

Chartered Global Management Accountant

The Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation distinguishes professionals who have advanced proficiency in finance, operations, strategy, and management. CGMA designation holders qualify through rigorous education, team, and experience requirements. They commit to lifelong education and adhere to a stringent code of ethical conduct.

Certified Government Financial Manager

Certified Government Financial ManagerⓇ (CGFM) is a professional certification awarded by the Association of Government Accountants (AGA). The designation demonstrates competency in governmental accounting, auditing, financial reporting, internal controls, and budgeting at the federal, state, and local levels.

CGFM is a respected credential that recognizes the specialized knowledge and experience needed to be an effective government financial manager.
